Finding the right counselling to be able to meet your needs, personality and goals is important to be able to get the most from counselling. The approach I have is client centre and I do use other modalities along the way depending on your needs and I like to work at your pace. As a counsellor I want to walk alongside you on your journey and to help you work on your goals and/or change you may want to make in your life. I am currently registered with PAFCA as Counsellor (26691) and AASW as a Social Worker (481763).

Confidentiality
During sessions it is a safety place to share personal issues that may cause emotional distress and your conversation are confidential.
As a mandatory reporter if something comes up that is of significant harm to yourself, child, family member or member of the community we will have further conversation to discuss intervention that may be required to ensure safety yourself and/or others.
Payments & Cancelations
Sessions are $150 per individual 1 hour session and $190 for 1 hour couples counselling. Sessions will need to be paid 24 hours before the session commences. There is currently no Medicare rebate or bulking billing for sessions. Cancelation of session will require 24 hours’ notice and if this does not take place full fee of session will be charged to you.

Termination of Counselling
You have the right to decide when therapy will cease. There are few exceptions if I do not have the right training/skills to meet your needs for support and I can assist you in finding another counsellor to better suit your needs, if you become abusive or harassing, if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol the session will cancelled and moved to a more suitable time, you will be charged with the full fee of the session.
